Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of aiprompthandbook.com (the "Service"), operated by Phillip Wilson, a sole trader in Australia ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.
1. What the Service is
The AI Prompt Handbook is a web application providing a library of AI prompt templates with fill-in-the-blank fields. You choose a template, enter your own details into the highlighted slots, and copy or download the result to use with a third-party AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any other AI provider. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.
2. Accounts
Browsing, filling in and downloading templates does not require an account. Creating an account lets you save your work. You must provide an accurate email address, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@aiprompthandbook.com.
3. Plans and billing
The free tiers cost nothing and require no payment details. The paid "Pro" plan is a recurring subscription billed in US dollars at the price shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
- You may cancel at any time from the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- If we change the price, we will give you notice before it applies to your renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend Pro features until payment succeeds.
Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your content
Anything you type into a template, save, or create using the Service remains yours. We store it only to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of it and do not sell it.
5. Our content and what you may do with it
The prompt templates, text, design and software of the Service are owned by us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the templates — including in your own commercial work, such as prompts you run for your business or clients.
You may not:
- republish, resell, sublicense or distribute the template library, or any substantial part of it, as a competing product or collection;
- scrape or bulk-download the Service by automated means;
- share account credentials, or circumvent access controls or usage limits.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems or anyone else's data.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Pro plan entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The templates are provided as general-purpose tools. AI assistants can produce inaccurate or unsuitable output, and results vary. You are responsible for reviewing anything you generate before relying on it. We do not warrant that use of the Service will produce any particular result.
Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited — at our option — to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of having it resupplied. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits — will do so.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
