The Requirements Gatherer

Help me define clear requirements for this system/software before we
select or build.

What we need it to do: [DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM AND USERS]
The current process: [DESCRIBE]

Provide:
1. The actual business needs behind the request (the problem, not the
   presumed solution)
2. Functional requirements (what it must do), prioritised (must/should/
   could)
3. Non-functional requirements (performance, security, integration,
   scale)
4. The requirements that are real vs "nice to have" that inflate cost
5. The questions to ask users to get requirements right

Focus on the underlying need — badly defined requirements are the top
cause of failed software projects.
