1. Whether this is core/differentiating (lean build) or commodity (lean
   buy)
2. The true total cost of each (build includes maintenance forever; buy
   includes fees and limits)
3. The time-to-value difference
4. The risks of each (build overruns; buy lock-in and misfit)
5. A recommendation with the conditions that would change it

Warn me that "build" almost always costs more and takes longer than
expected, and that maintenance is the hidden ongoing cost.
