The Ethical Decision Framework

Help me reason through this ethical dilemma properly.

Work through it from multiple angles:
1. Consequences — who's helped and harmed by each option, and how much
2. Duties and rights — what obligations, promises, and rights are in play
3. Fairness — would each option be fair to all, and would it survive
   scrutiny?
4. Character — what would a person of integrity do; could I explain it
   publicly?
5. Where these lenses agree and where they conflict

Then lay out the genuine trade-off and a defensible path — without
pretending the hard choice is easy. The decision stays mine.
