Subtext Injector

I have two characters discussing [SURFACE TOPIC], but underneath they're really dealing with [ACTUAL EMOTIONAL ISSUE].

Character A wants: [GOAL]
Character B wants: [GOAL]
What they can't say directly: [THE UNSPEAKABLE THING]

Write this conversation where neither directly addresses the real issue, but readers feel the tension underneath.
