The Image-to-Video Character Prompt

Design a character workflow starting from stills.

Produce:
1. The still image generation strategy: how to produce a consistent
   character across multiple stills
2. What each still needs to show for the shot it will drive
3. The image prompts for each still
4. How to select the best still per shot
5. The video prompt for each still: what motion to add, and how to
   phrase it so the character does not drift from the reference
6. What motion is safe from a still and what is not

Rules for the motion prompts:
- Small motion preserves the reference; large motion drifts from it
- Camera movement is generally safer than subject movement
- The face is most stable when it is not the primary motion
- State explicitly what should not change

This hybrid workflow — control the frame in an image tool, add
motion in a video tool — produces the most consistent results
available today. It should be the default for character work.
